odiestruck Registered User Join Date: Feb 2008 Posts: 2	Battery Light 1988 F250 7.3l >>>battery Light<<< My battery light stays ON when I first start the truck. It goes OFF after 2-3 miles. Sometimes it is intermittent... the ammeter gauge shows low voltage when light is ON but normal level when light is OFF. I've recently replaced the alternator and both batteries. WHAT'S GOING ON????

If you have a lot of miles on your belt, it's probably worth a try replacing it..
