Extractors on a diesel engine

Okay, so i was looking through the trading post a little while back and i notice for sale was a hilux with the 2.4 diesel engine and it had extractors on it. Do extractors really work with diesel engines, or is it likely that the selling is on the bong?

How much difference do they make in terms of performance and economy (roughly)

Re: Extractors on a diesel engine

its the same as any other combustion engine. Make it breathe in and out better you will get more power. This is what extractors do to it. You will probably see around 3-5kw difference (approx) without an additional 'sports' system

Re: Extractors on a diesel engine
