hi all, me again ive noticed that im leaking diesel from the top of my filler neck, it does't seem to match the hole location on the body (see photo) ive popped into my main dealer & got a picture of the fuel filler/tank parts. when i checked the correct parts against my parts something didnt look right, i now suspect that its had a engine change or a fuel tank change. heres some pictures of the parts ive got, does anybody know if these are correct?

well just to give you an update, popped back to main dealer today, they had another diesel filler neck in stock, had look at it, it was different from the one that is currently fitted. i asked the chap to bring up the filler necl for the petrol engine, guess what, that one matched the one which is currently fitted. so now i know what the problem is, i will be looking in scrap yards near me to locate a diesel fiesta & remove the filler neck & then fit it to mine. and then hopefully stop this leak once & for all.

Aye, go to a bone yard and get one from there. Save ya money and actually have the proper one in place.

well new one or should i say the re-conditioned one is now fitted, its running better (not as much smoke on start up now) & im not losing diesel from the nice gap!!
