turbo

I have a 2003 ford 6.0 diesel that goes woof woof when I let off the throttle quickly after excellerating. My dealer can not figure it out. Does any body know what the problem is?

Ford describes this sound as an intake backwash sound when your in the throttle hard and then let off,its just turbo boost in the intake system that kinda purges as you let off the throttle,theres nothing wrong with your engine,this is perfectly normal and they all will do it.

the only thing i can suggest is check the boost controll wastegate and the vacume hose and plunger
