timersk Registered User Join Date: Jun 2011 Location: Ottawa Posts: 2	05 Escape Limited, 119K Kilo, Shudder between 1st and 2nd gear Hi, My Ford is shuddering between 1st and 2nd gear. Started doing this a month ago. I took it to Ford to have it investigated. They changed the oil in it. No change. Still shudders. I was not happy with Ford so I took it to Mr. Transmission. They checked the codes and none were found, no lights on the dash, battery was disconnected to restart the computer, to retrain the trans. It hasn't been determined what exactly the trouble is. Likely the transmission. But I am no expert. I don't know. What is the next thing to do? I live in Ottawa Canada. Does anyone know an inexpensive place, that is reliable that could fix it. Any ideas what the fault might be? Thanks, Tim
