Air bag off option was only standard on regular cab trucks, so you could carry a child. You can always have the passenger air bag removed, but be cautious as this can void warranty, insurance and vehicle safety as the engine light, or air bag light would come on as it senses a problem (air bag is GONE!). To my knowledge you cannot legally install an 'off' aftermarket switch for safety and liability.
