I was in a car accident where a mustang hit me directly on my front drivers tire. I have been told that the axel is broke and that the frame is slightly bent and that most likely it will be totalled. Her insurance company is giving me the run around because there was little actual body damage. Dealership said if axel is truly broken that the car should be totalled but up to insurance adjuster.

Opinions? Would you want it to get fixed and continue to drive it or would you push for it to be totalled? I love my Escape but I still owe about 3.6K on it! I would prefer that it get totalled and use whatever they give me above the payoff to get another vehicle but think I am about to get a bum deal.
