I just replaced mine. You have to remove the upper intake mainifold to get to the other 3 plugs. Mine is a V6. Here is a link to some instructions:

While you are at it you should replace the 3 rear coil packs (do not use Ford parts) and the O rings used to seal the manifold want to fall out of place when installing the manifold.
