2003 Sport Trac New Owner - Ford Forums

Just purchased a new 2003 XLT Sport Trac this week. With only 100 miles on it, I'll say its the smoothest ride of any suv I've driven. I use to have a 2001 Honda CR-V, nice car but nothing to compare to the Sport Trac.
What is the best hitch and price? I have found the Ford for $147.86, think this is too high!!!

You don't give your location, but in the U.S. you can get a "REESE" hitch for about $99 at Autozone.
Hang on to this truck. Ford is discontinuing it after the 2004 model run.

Thanks for the info about AutoZone and the Reese Hitch. Yes, Hueytown, Al. is in the USA.....It called the South, grits, and pretty women.

Ford will discontinue the Sport Trac in 2004? Man thats like Coke coming out with New Coke a few years back. They never recovered from the loss to Pepsi.

Hueytown, Home of the Alabama Gang.. like in NASCAR RACING. And we are about 15 miles S.W. of Birmingham, Al.

Hueytown... not much of a town to look at, but its friendly, quite & peaceful......til all them there racin' motors be reved up in them thar workshops..
