2007 Escape Hybrid Battery - Ford Forums

I just bought a 2007 Ford Escape Hybrid for parts. Does anyone know who buys the Batteries from these vehicles? Does anyone know where i could get rid of this battery. I know they are worth alot of money. I just dont know where to go with it. PM me with any help. Thanks

This depends upon whether the hybrid battery tests ok. What type of damage did this Escape Hybrid have? Are you from Pennsylvania?

I'd get it tested as was stated in the previous post. You could sell it on Ebay and have whoever wins the auction pick it up. Keep in mind that NO hybrid batteries have failed yet by any major automaker, so you may have to hold onto it for a while.

Not true. If one goes to Priuschat.com, you can find Prius owners who have had the unpleasant experience of having their hybrid battery fail. It is usually due to corrision of plates/connectors between the individual battery cells. I am not aware of a Ford Escape Hybrid having its hybrid battery fail yet.
