I don't believe it does, it's just rated to protect occupants from UV rays. Just don't mount it around the defroster (rear window area) and you'll be fine. If your windows are tinted there could be a chance that the glass is passivated, but you can check with the dealer. I have seen an '09 with a window mount antenna, so I imagine it works or the owner would have removed it.
