2008 Headlight removal - Ford Forums - Mustang Forum, Ford Trucks, Ford Focus and Ford Cars

I have an 08 Escape and I am trying to put some different headlights in it. I read the instructions in the owners manual on how to remove the headlight, but when I go to do it, the bulb assembly won't turn counter clockwise. I don't want to force it and break it.

Just wondering if anyone else has had this problem and what a possible solution might be?

Have you tried pushing it in slightly and trying to turn it? Other than that, I don't know what to say.

Weelllll, We're all on the edge of our seats. . .Did the bulb come out???

LOL, sorry for the delay. I did get the bulbs out. Ended up having to gently persuade them with a pair of pliers and they were still pretty tough to get to turn. The new bulbs are nice though :)
