I purchased an 08 Mariner 4WD/V6 a few weeks ago. The vehicle has around 600 miles broken into it right now.

Over the last few weeks, I've noticed a steering wheel vibration while braking over 35-40mph. I don't need to depress on the brake pedal hard either, just a good tap and hold causes the vibrating to occur.

I'm thinking it could be a warped rotor, bad pads, alignment off, etc. Has anyone else run into this type of issue? I am going to monitor it carefully for a little while longer and then take it to the dealer for service if the vibrating continues. I doubt the issue has anything to do with the vehicle brake-in period nor anti-lock braking.

it sounds like a warped roter. my 06 grand prix started doing that and it ended up being the front roters were warped
