Automatic Headlights cycle too much - Ford Forums

My Automatic Headlights turn on during the day when ever I go under a bridge, then turn off aftwards. They also turn on and off a lot at dusk and dawn.

Is this a normal function?

Is there a way to adjust this? I was thinking that if there was a way to adjust the on or off delay that would be nice. Or something like that.

I understand the safety issues of changing the timing to turn on or off later. One thing that I like about the Toyota Corolla is they leave the headlights on all the time. But use the dark sensor to turn the dash lights on and off.

Is there a way to leave the headlights on all the time when set for auto then turn off automatically when the engine is turned off?
