Clicking sound when steering 2001 Escape
Bought a 2001 Escape about a year ago and it has been simply fantastic. Out of nowhere today a whine, that has been present since I bought it got dramatically bad, the steering started clicking (when steering of course) and the front right brakes started making a horrible sound...weird...as I said all out of nowhere.
Anyone here had anything similar happen?

Mystery solved... Stabiliser bar mount collapsed and wheel bearing needed replacing...
just incase anyone wanted to know that is
