Dual climate control on 2008 Hybrid

Climate control appears un-controllable on pasengers side
Dealer says its normal but I can't believe that no one else complains about heat coming out passenger vents when a/c is on
Any ideas

Re: Dual climate control on 2008 Hybrid

Just want to say my 2008 mariner passenger temp seems to be stuck high. I can get it to cool down if I set the temp to the low 60s. gonna find a dealer to take a look before the warranty runs out.

Re: Dual climate control on 2008 Hybrid

I had a similar problem with an auto climate control on an old Oldsmobile. I know it's not an Escape, but I like it colder than my wife does, so I set mine for say 72F, and she had hers for 85F - big difference. So when I have A/C on my side, heat does come out her vents to try to keep the temperatures at the desired settings. I rarely had them the same temp but if that's the case, and heat is still coming out the pass vents, I'd take it to the dealer and tell them to fix it.
