I went to Advance Auto parts and got my engine scanned today. Got the p0430 code (catalyst efficiency below threshold bank 2). I've heard that this is generally an O2 sensor issue, not a cat converter problem.
If someone could help me out with this, I'd really appreciate it. And if it is an O2 sensor, could you include a diagram/instructions on to remove it.

Thanks Bert. But can you tell me if its an upstream sensor or a downstream sensor? I went to advance and, based on some context clues from research, i bought a downstream sensor. The guy at the store also said that there are two on each side of the convertor. Do i need to replace both, or just one?

That code is for the sensor after the cats. What engine do you have?
