Escape Hybrid w/Nav System woes
I purchased an '07 Escape Hybrid with every option with the exception of the 4 wheel drive. Including the Nav system which comes with a 6 cd changer under the passenger seat. All of the options are factory.
Regardless of the fact that the brochure states specificly: "Plus, all of the CD players and changers feature MP3 compatibilty." This changer doesn't. It is not a matter of how the discs are written. I've contacted both the dealer and warranty repair shop over my dissatisfaction with the false claim and fired off an email to Ford. This may not be a big deal to most but why would ford install an outdated changer when you are paying for what is supposed to be an upgrade to the "standard" package for the audio system.
