Tongue Ford Escape MPG Mileage Improves!!

Good news! The Escape's mileage seems to improve after the first few thousand miles? I was just reading the old Escape MPG poll posted here for 2003 Escape owners and was wondering if anyone else had experienced improved mileage after owning your Escape for awhile? I found a couple of owner gas mileage reports on the net. This one looks like the best:

Check out this Escape MPG owners poll (there are over 400 votes!!)
