Hi, I just bought a 2002 Ford Explorer Sport Trac, it came with a keyless entry pad, but the dealership didn't know the code to it. Can somebody tell me how to reset the code and put in my own?

The code is on the computer box found behind the glove box. It's a pain to get to and removal of the glovbox will be nessary as part of it but a sticker on it will give you the default code. Once you have the code you can also program a second coustom code as well.

If you bought that vehicle at the dealer, they should have given you the code whether used or new! It only takes a second to hook up the computer to get the code.

Our dealer does this for all customers without charging for it only if it was bought there.
