Front end noise '04 Escape XLS 2.0L MT

I have the above car with 360m miles on it. I get a noise like a house door that is mis-aligned on it's hinges when I turn the wheel at low speeds, sort of a creaking noise.
I recently replaced the stabilizer links, and in fact re-replaced one side that I thought might be the culprit again, though this didn't solve the problem.
I also replaced the outer tie rod ends quite awhile ago, and it may simply be the case that they need replacing again.
I got to thinking about the inner tie rod ends. Do these go bad at some point? Or possibly the struts (they are original)? Otherwise the car drives and runs great.

Any moving part can go bad and can't be ruled out, but before spending a whole bunch of money and time on guesses, try lubing anything that can be lubed. Just do one or two components at a time to avoid confusion. If it doesn't actually have grease fittings, get some white lithium grease in a spray form and spray it into the mating surfaces. If the noise decreases, you found it, if it doesn't, well unfortunately it still could be it, but the grease didn't penetrate far enough.

I've had older shocks and struts do this, particularly after having the car lifted.
