Hi... im new here... my name is Brandon from San Diego. My girlfriend has a 2002 Ford Escape XLT and recently whenever you are in drive and pushing the gas the motor or something in there is a making an odd ticking noise... i have heard several Fords doing this driving around and my sisters expedition is doing the same thing. the escape has a v6 the 3.0 i believe in it. ANY IDEAS of what the heck is wrong this time?

we figured it out... its an exhaust leak... we are pretty sure

Would anyone know if it is expensive to replace the exhause manifold for this car? and how long would we be looking to have it in the shop??
