How do I remove a reverse sensor on my 2005 Mariner?

Anyone know what the procedure is to remove a reverse sensor off of a 2005 Mariner?

Is it like a light bulb that you turn to get off or something else?

Thanks in advance.....

The attachment is a page from the 2009 shop manual. It's probably similar to the 2005. It seems there's a part of the sensor accessible from behind the bumper cover, and a part that you must remove the bumper cover to get to. Hope that helps.

I think I read that wrong. I think the shop manual is referring to the sensors that are closer to the centerline of the car vs. those out at the edges, not as I interpreted it.
