'06 Mariner with one of apparently two lights out that illuminate the speedometer. Here, the left side. Two questions.

1. How do you replace the burned out/malfunctioning light?


2. Should I replace all the lights when (I presume) the instrument panel is open for service? I don't know whether these lights are failure prone or not.
The Mariner has 85,000 miles on it and I'd rather do the job one time. I don't even know if these are LEDs or regular old-fashioned bulbs.

Strangely, the light came back to life and all is (apparently) well. So now I have dash lights I don't trust. Any ideas out there? Thanks.

Maybe a poor connection somewhere in the dash. It also may never do that again.
