need some help with 2007 escape xlt
first its a 07 escape xlt, has 4wd, yesterday i was driving all day no problems,, we had a snow storm, so i pulled out of the gas station and i got 50 feet and my escae wouldnt go any further, it goes into gear, the driveshaft is turning,, i checked the cv joint on the shaft its fine, my friend thinks it is a power transfer unit, when i put it in gear i hear a noise in reverse but not drive, and it will not work in any gear,
