My daughters 2001 Escape is still stalling until it gets warmed up. Thinking about changing the Idle air control (valve). Anyway, Changed the oil and had the spark plugs done the other day and today the engine light comes on with three codes, P0171, P0174 & P0304. I was wondering if that last code has anything to do with the PCM since it is cylinder 4 and there was a recall in '04 for that. The only recall that my daughter did was in '04 for EEC/Emission recall (Recall#04S13). Isn't this a different recall??

P0171, P0174 are codes related to a PCV or vacuum/intake leak. Carefully inspect for a "hissing" noise or vacuum leak with engine running. This can also cause a missfire code.
