I have a 2005 Sports Trac XLS, with electric windows. It did not come with a keyless entry system, but I had a simple one installed (not a Ford product). Can I install the keyless entry key pad from Ford (the one that basically sticks to the door)? Will it work even though I do not have a factory installed keyless entry system? Thank you.
Yes it should but I suggest you go to www.mysporttrac.com and ask there as there is many more informed persons than me there. Great site if you own a Trac.
