I have an 08 Escape XLT and at times when I start it, the sunroof opens about 4 or 5 inches. I first noticed it when the weather turned cold. The dealer is unable to duplicate the problem. (never does it in the shop as always) Any advise would be greatly appreciated. 10k on it and except for this it has been great. Great MPG with the 4cyl.

If you can, park it at the dealer over night so they can start it after it's been sitting for a while. Driving it there and having them look at it within a couple hours probably won't duplicate the problem. Electrical gremlins can be tough to find, but keep at the dealer for a fix!
