I have an 04 escape XLT so power windows/sun roof etc. and I was wondering if anyone know how or were to get information for programming the computer to roll down the windows. This feature is on some other vehicles VW, Nissan etc and work though the unlock button on the remote. one press unlocks the drivers door, two all the locks and if you hold the unlock button the windows open. I think this can be done through the computer but I can't find any information.

If it can't be done that way does anyone know where I can get a detailed wiring diagrams. my idea thus far is to use a delayed timer relay so that if the unlock button on the remote is pressed for, lets say 5 seconds, the relay switches and turns on another relay to latch and hold until the unlock signal from the remote is stopped.

I don't have an aftermarket alarm..yet.. and I think with some of those systems to can get AUX settings to do things alone these lines?? can anyone confirm that?

Ideas? Criticisms?

No it cannot. Not on Ford products.

Even if this was possible, it would cost a fortune!

Even as a seasoned tech, if you came in the door asking about all of this, I would have to decline to even begin research on this matter.

Do you know how the signal moves from the door switch to the motor? does it even go though the computer?? or is it much simpler and just hardwired..

My assumption is that the biggest (or one of many equally large) issues is getting power to the window motors without a key in the ignition.(unless you reroute the power from the accessories fuse) plus if they are hardwired then there is no way to even reroute a signal from the cpu.

I think I am overlooking WAY too much here.

what about third party alarm cpu's and their AUXs.. would I have a better chance looking down that road?

Even Aftermarket kits would not help you. The windows do not go through the PCM. We cannot even control the windows from the Ford diagnostics tool.
