Chiptorque - any good?

Just wondering has anyone had a chiptorque plug in chip installed? the type that gets programmed to the mods that you have.
Are they any good compared to something like a unichip which can be live dyno tuned to suit the car?
I would have thought that a unichip tuned to your individual car would be more effective than a chip sent away and programmed.
What do you guys think?

Re: Chiptorque - any good?

This debate comes up quite often. Custom dyno tuning is the way to go for best power for sure, but chiptorque do a fairly good job with their 'óff the shelf' chips and are about half the price. Chiptorque can also do custom dyno tuned chips but not many dealers have that ability.
