Wolf 2D problems

Hi all, i thought id get your help with my Wolf 2D as it is playing up a bit.
Firstly it seems to have gone and reset itself as all the settings are all over the place, my alternator is also on its way out and the battery lost charge, that is when the ecu buggered up. (not sure if the 2 problems are related)
I am getting the settings for it of the previous owner whcih were written down after it was tuned many years ago so i can punch them back in and it hopefully wont go spastic again.
What i do need help with is on the side of the control unit bit there is a small flat head screw which when you turn it increases (or decreases depending on direction) a percentage on the main display. im pretty sure that it is supposed to be up at around 90% yet it wont go past 24% or below 12%.
Are any of you guys or girls running wolf 2D's or know how to fix this problem? From a quick scan of the ECU forums i saw some of you have wolf 3D's, not sure if they are at all similair units.
Any help would be great, thanks in advance!
(by the way the unit is 9 years old and in a 1980 280zx if that helps, obviously not a ford but have already asked around at Zed forums with not much luck).
Cheers!

Re: Wolf 2D tuning

Forgot I posted here for help 2 years ago now.

Anyway got it tuned eventually, runs pretty good but I want to refine the tuning as I think it could be better. I'm reluctant to take it back to the Wolf specialist tuners in Mitcham coz after $300 they still didn't get it right.

It can't rev out as high as it used to and backfires a little on deceleration if in gear with clutch out, which i've heard is a sign of the car running rich...?

Just wanting to know if anyone on here would be any good at road tuning a Wolf 2D while I drive round. I'm in Mont Albert (eastern suburbs of Melbourne) and there'd be a few beers in the form of a six pack for your help.... not to mention the fun being had revving out an oldschool modified rear wheel drive datto!

(car is '80 Datsun 280zx)

Dave.
