Sales of hugely profitable full-size sport utility vehicles like the Chevy Tahoe and Ford Expedition are slowing down after zooming out of showrooms for years.
It's unfortunate to see SUV sales drop over these years as our gas prices are rising off the charts. I rather buy a car to save on gas. I just read about all the new hybrids on automotive information site. It has a lot of new cars and specs, great for new car buyers.
If FORD and the OTHERS would give better mileage on their big vehicles they would sell like HOT CAKES. IT CAN BE DONE. the car makers don't want their cars to get good mileage. they want to sell you a car every couple of years.100-200 mpg is possible. search the internet.
Search the internet ? The tooth fairy does exist ! If one car maker did this, the others would be out of bussiness in a week. Get a grip on reality, not.....
it will never happen any way, they make tons of money doing the same-ole. that leaves us paying high doller for gas.THE REALITY IS WE THE LITTLE PEOPLE ARE PUPPETS IN THEIR HANDS.big oil,big business, big government isn't in our best interest.we have to look out for ourselves.
The big 3 have slit their own throats, HOW? by not giving the public good gas mileage on the cars that WE drive. This country brought in foreign cars years ago because THEY got better gas mileage and were smaller.NOW the big 3 are hurting because they can't sell their cars to us.
Blame it to the hybrids! Nowadays, people are just being practical due to the amplifying price of fuel. Large SUVs are certified gas-guzzlers too, we all know that i guess. If i had the chance to dump my old car and get a new one, I would definitely go for hybrids. Large SUVs doesn't seem to match our lifestyle today.
