Ok heres how things started to get ugly. While driving down the HWY, the Batt light came on the dash, & 30 min later the car dies after the juice is gone from the batt. I have to jump start it every 10 miles till i get home.
Next day i replace the Alt with a new one. First time i go to start the car it runs for 10 seconds then dies, At this point i had the Intake hose off, put the hose back on & tried it again same thing RPM's dip at 5 sec. then dead at 10.
At the parts store the old alt showed an output of 29 volts
and sounded real scratchy. Could the high voltage from alt have blown some kind of fuse or cause any other damage?
