i just bought a 03 eb and thee are some paint bubbles by the handle in the back lift gate abd also in the front of the hood where the hood meets the grille can anyone tell me what the rust warranty is for that year mine has 57000 miles on it

Rust warranty will be covered up to 3 years/36,000 miles, but the rust condition must be a "rust through" to be covered.

i thought i read on fords web site that it was 5yr/60000 mi i will have to call them on tues to get this straightend out

Sorry - I know you posted that question a long time ago. I got the same problem on my 2000 Expy hood. The lip just over the grill is bubbling up. However, it isn't rusting. Turns out it's just the paint seperating from the metal.

I'm looking at around $300 to fix, or $50 for a hood bra.... When money is tight - like it is now, I might just go for the bra to cover up & then worry about painting after the winter....

The bra will cause more problems than it hides.

same thing here back dook look's real bad , took it back no go , it;s a ford fuc!!! up but i got to paid , just got it about 3mo ago and did not see it , my wife found it . the truck was in a wreck i did not find that out till 3molater to, i got the truck as is , it is a real real good looking truck they had put the big rim's on it ,and that's all i saw , dumb ass me!! i got -got lol 4 year;s to paid for it , sorry this is my first post her, i have the EB-03 white and tan 23in rim's, i could not buy the rims so that's what got me to bite !! ppl please please watch what you buy out here now it was a lot ofwater out here last year all over , and they are selling them car and truck , a newbie
