My 02 nav is making rattling noises from the rear suspension. I took it to the dealer. I was told it was the rear struts. Could it possibly be the strut mounts? Or should I just replace both rear struts and be done with it? I didn't want to install a conversion kit.

If a jobs worth doing , do it right . Check the mounts and replace if any doubt .
