Re: 03 Navigator Intake?

I have the following intake systems (NOT just filter the whole intake); a KN on my 96 7.5L F250, KN on 98 5.0L Explorer, AFE on 03 Vette and a Voliant Air intake on my 04 5.4L Navigator. Other than cost and cleaning requirements I don't honestly think I could tell you that one is better than the other. I will tell you that ANY will result in a difference in your mileage and performance, however to get the full benifit you should add a free flow type muffler (i.e. Flow Master, Magna Flow, etc...) as well. Better yet would be an entire exhaust system. I have only gone with free flow mufflers with the air intakes so far (although I'll probably get an entire system for the vette) and have experienced NOTICABLE differences in mileage and performance on all of my vehicles!

Re: 03 Navigator Intake?

Have two Navigators, 98 and 05. On the older one I added: K and N cold air intake, computer pragrammer, mass air flow sensor, throttle body spacer, new performance coils and magnaflow exhaust. I am still thinking about a supercharger. My old 98 now has the zip to beat newer ones. P
