b1bent Registered User Join Date: Nov 2010 Posts: 3	03 navigator slow acceleration no power going up hills or small inclines,revs reach up to 3k to make it up shifts are very late, mr. transmission says not tranny 4r100 have changed all 02 sensors, plugs, fuel filter,coils. 2 months ago replaced egr tube. are cats a problem?

Bert 2002 F150 XLT Join Date: Nov 2008 Location: Oregon Posts: 9,223	Re: 03 navigator slow acceleration The cats can be plugged. Check the vacuum at idle, then raise the RPM to about 2500. The vacuum reading should drop to near 10 and go back to near what it was at idle. If it stays low, there's a restriction in the ehaust. __________________ Bert
