05 Exped E.B. rough idling on 2nd gear

Good day everyone, Im New to the forum, I got my suv 3 weeks ago and has been running fine. Last weekend it started to rough idle at low rev when it shifts to 2nd gear as if its lacking gas. Form first gear if i floor the pedal, it shifts great all the way up to overdrive. But when i tap the pedal lightly the suv will go on first with no hickups then shifts to second at about 2300rpm, then the engine rpm will drop to 1300rpm, then as if the engine is gargling till the rpm picks up to 2400 again then the engine goes smooth. Only in the 2nd gear. I took it for an ids at my dealer and they suggested the coil to be changed and plugs, it didnt work. I have no check engine lights so im at a loss. I have been reading up on the forum and i have been thinking of some items that mightnbe causing this. Any information is very much helpful and needed at this point. This is my first modern ford and i dont want it to be a bad experience..... Thanks in advance

There still could be codes without the light. Autozone will check for free.

As Bert said, get it scanned, and given the age, might want to change the transmission fluid and filter.

Ever notice that there's so many high performance parts available for GM products?

Did you ever think that maybe they NEED them?
