1997 Expedition Shocks HELP

I need to change shocks, can anybody tell me which will give me the smoothest ride? So I will not feel every bump? What is the good brand? What kind? Please help, I want to get them asap, also when I hit a bump or a pothole it sounds like something is loose under the car, but there's nothing there,, anybody can tell me what it might be? I have 1997 EXPEDITION v8 5.4L
thanks

Re: 1997 Expedition Shocks HELP

I would get the Rancho brand shocks if it were my SUV since I have always had good luck with them.

The noise issue could be worn shock bushings, worn ball joint, or swaybar links.

I won't say "smooth" because you are driving a full size SUV. They will make it less bouncy.
