While driving down the highway yesterday - nice day, 80 degrees - engine shut off. The speed and rpm gauges fell then rose again before falling to the off positions.

It cranks but will not start.

PATS system tests out ok.

Oil level is fine.

When you insert the key and click over to the on/run position you will hear the hear fuel pump hum then you hear a bump again.

Any ideas would be appreciated.

Have you checked for spark from at least one of the colis? Also, try spraying a shot of carb cleaner or starting fluid in the intake and then try to start it.
