My expedition was idling very poorly sometimes i had to put my foot on the gas to keep it going cause it wouldnt idle on itself . The last time i drove it I pulled in drive way and i was going to leave again I hadnt shut it off but the idle was real low so I went to give it alittle gas and it died. Tried to start it back up and it turned over but would not start.. Thought maybe it was the fuel pump but just turned the key over (not try to start it) you could here the fuel pump start...So I dont know what else to do ..It was hesitating every once in awhile the guy at napa said the hesitating sometimes was caused from a bad throottle control sensor could this be the reason its not starting now that could have went out. Please Help my only vehickle running right now have to get to work to try and support my 4 children dont have the finaces to put it in the shop...PLEASE...

Hard to say what it could be without seeing it or at least a code readout. Autozone will check codes for free if you could get it started. Have you checked all of the fuses, inside and under the hood? What engine is it?

v8 5.4 is the motor.. changed the throttle control sensor but that doesnt seem to be the problem either.. could it be the gas cap or the fuel filter? havent checked all the fuses yet..

Autozone will check for codes. That would be better than throwing parts at it.
