The ABS light comes on at random, seems like more so when the vehicle warms up. Always goes off after restart, and sometimes will go days without coming on, but other times will light up every time after just a few minutes of driving. Research leads me to believe it is a speed sensor, but how can I determine if it is front or rear and left or right side? No codes when OBDII scanning because the ABS light will be off after the restart and it never comes on at idle before the truck moves? Any ideas or advice?

Is it just the ABS light? If the brake light comes on too, check the brake fluid level. The switches are very sensitaive.

no just the ABS light and if I turn off the engine and restart, it will go off and them come back on later.

Call Autozone and see if their scanner can pull ABS codes.
