2003 Expedition battery hold down - Ford Forums

Went to change the battery on our new to us 03 Expedition and found it's just sitting in the tray, with nothing to keep it in in case of an accident.
How is the battery held in on the 2nd gen Expeditions? It looks similar to our 01 Windstar in that there's a lip on the stationary side and a wedge that gets bolted in to hold it from the other. However, there's no nut, captive, speed or otherwise for a bolt to thread into. I see a hole in the plastic lower case, and one in the metal frame, but that's it.
Can anyone tell me what parts I'll need to get in order to secure the battery?

The wedge is held in place with a long bolt. There's a washer welded to the bottom portion of the bolt and that's what presses down on the plastic wedge. The threads of the bolt screw into the battery try. The hex head on the top of the bolt extends up about 3-4 inches so you can get a socket on it. Obviously yours is missing.

Wedge/bolt along with whatever the bolt threads into.
