avking Registered User Join Date: Dec 2005 Location: California & Idaho Age: 38 Posts: 2	2004 - Is it Double or 1.5 DIN I have a 04 and want to order an aftermarket navigation system. I have the Eddie Bauer with 6 Disk in Dash CD Changer. Is it a Double or 1.5 Din opening? Also, will I loose any features when I remove the factory head unit? I have owned GM trucks as my last several vehicles, so I am not at all familiar with how Fords are put together. On a GM, you loose your door chimes and some other features when you replace a head unit. How does it work on a Ford? Do I need any special adapters?
