Now that colder weather is upon us, I've found out that my front heater settings are acting up. There are 4 fan speeds (1, 2, 3, and 4), but I have only 2 speeds (Low and High). On settings 1, 2, and 3 the fan blows at low speed, and on 4 it blows on high speed.

Anyone else have this problem and know how to fix?

I would say that it's the blower resistor.

I see that you've helped many other Ford owners out there. Thank you for your input.

Not being overly "car savvy", is the resistor something easily swapped out? Where can I find it - on/behind the blower control?

I'm not car savvy, my talents lie elsewhere, but I am quite competent at following directions.
