I have a 04 Navigator, and the cruise control is not working.. When i press to turn on cruise control, NO lights come on or anything. Any ideas of how to check this issue out, didnt realize how much i use the cruise until now...

Also when i make turns left and right i hear a popping sound from the drivers left front wheel area? any suggestions on that would help too. thanks..

Check the brake lights to see if they come on to easily. The brake light switch shuts the cruise control off. There's also a deactivation switch on the brake pedal. Check fuses #5, #12, and #28.

All fuses are good, the brakes lights works great too... the cruise light never comes on at all ...
