2005 Ford Expedition

I have a '05 Ford Expedition from what we have been told it is stacking gears/ dropping cylinders. When it shifts from 1st to 2nd it shifts to all gears then overdrive. One person said it thinks the gas pedal is pressed to the floor at all times. My husband calls it falling on its face. We have changed the following: fuel pump, 2 fuel filters, throttle body, 2 throttle positioning sensors, Mass Air Flow sensor, speed control sensor and the computer. It still does it. What else can it be? It is not giving any codes and no check engine light. We have took it to 2 mechanics, a transmission place (he said its either the computer or a wiring problem that the dealership would have to diagnose), took it to one dealership (but after changing the throttle body they claimed was bad they had no clue) so I took it to another dealer that said bad computer but after changing the computer found out that is not the problem. They still have it and are checking it out but I am looking for options to try and speed things along so I can get my SUV back.

Re: 2005 Ford Expedition

I would have to test drive to see what it's doing. If it thought it was wide open it wouldn't stack gears. They should be able to tell with the scan tool what is going on as far as a bad input or something else. Seeing this vehicle is going to be the best way to tell
