2005 Navigator 6 speed fluid
I have a 2005 Navigator with about 40k miles and I would like to change all the fluids (and switch to synthetic)... it is 4x4 and I'd like to do the diff's and transfer case too. I have searched here and elsewhere and couldn't find a thing...
Are there any write-ups anywhere on how to do this? I've done this before on other cars but it would be nice to read about this specific vehicle first.
I have never owned 4x4 before, anything to watch out for? any tips on the transfer case?
Anyone know where to get the filter for the ZF 6 speed tranny, and is there a specific procedure to change the fluid on it? I don't feel that I need a full flush, I am interested in changing the fluid and filter in the tranny. I do this on my other vehicles once a year and it has worked well so far.
