It is a 4x4 with 80,000 miles, fuel filter was changed 10,000 miles ago. I have second run of injector cleaner through fuel tank, truck is smooth under normal driving, but hesitates under hard acceleration when getting into traffic. The check engine light just came on and stayed on, will take to Auto Zone for diagnostic.

Are the spark plugs regular ones or 100k plugs like most new vehicles?

They're supposed to last 100,000 miles but I'd change them at 80k or so. They can break when removing them. There's a special procedure to change them. It's best when the engine is hot.

Had Autozone check it, was #2 cylinder firing intermittently. Changed coil, runs better better but still hesitates at 3-3.5k and clears up at 4k. Could it be injectors? I am on tank #2 of Lucas fuel injector cleaner.

Ran Lucas fuel cleaner and improved mileage by .5 MPG. I still get hesitation under acceleration, but now seeing a cloud of exhaust after it clears. I am guessing clogged injector, but has happened several times. Anyone have any suggestions? I'm thinking about taking it in to have injectors professionally cleaned.
