Went to have my 2007 Lincoln Navigator smog tested.
Mechanics at the test site were apparently clueless and could not locate the EGR Valve to complete the test.

Thus I find myself doing their job and researching the location of this valve on the vehicle in order to ensure I can complete the test.

Need location of EGR Valve on a 2007 Lincoln Navigator in terms that I can relay to smog test mechanic.

The 3-valve Triton motors (2006+ for the Navigators...) use variable valve timing to accomplish what the old EGR valve systems did. So there's no physical EGR valve to see on the motor. Ask the emissions testers what they do for the other 3V Triton motored vehicles they test. (i.e. 2004+ Fords and 2006+ Lincolns...).

I suspected that was no physical valve, since there were no ERG valves listed for sale on my 2007 model when I googled.
